Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic services have been suspended in St Gregory the Great church. This a fluid situation and a notice is shown on the door when no services are being held. Please check the weekly circular for the latest information on services here and at the other churches in the Bridgnorth benefice. We remain a praying community and this church is open during daylight hours for individual private prayer. Visit us online on Facebook where you will find daily acts of worship and prayer. If you wish to speak to a member of the clergy please contact one of the Team Clergy (see Contact Us)

Bereavement

When a loved one dies

When someone close to you dies there can be so much to do and organise.  As your local parish church we are here to support you in any way we can. However you must contact a funeral director in the first instance. Local funeral directors can make arrangements for you for a funeral, burial or memorial service directly with the Church. Details of the order of service will need to be discussed with the member of the clergy who will be officiating. There are fees to be paid but this is dealt with by the funeral director. St Gregory the Great Church can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people but car parking is limited. It is possible for arrangements to be made to park in the surrounding field but this dependent on the ground conditions (ie dry and grass short). Please note there are statutory and church rules surrounding burials in the churchyard.
